– Warren Dunes Refunds
All of the Warren Dunes refund checks were distributed last Monday night. Hopefully they all got home and into the right hands! The checks were made out to adults. Let me know if your refund went missing.
– Run for the Fallen
Shout out to Scout Liam who participated in a one mile run in honor of fallen police officers, especially Officer Bartholomew. This was a very real demonstration of respect and gratitude for the sacrifice of police officers who have died in the line of duty. Great job Liam!
– New T-Shirt Coming
The Patrol Leader Council has begun the process of designing the 2026 Troop t-shirt. The Senior Patrol Leaders just received the first draft of the design. They will have an opportunity to modify it, but it looks great already!
We plan to have the shirt ready in time for the July 11 Car Wash. The cost of the shirt will be about $15.00. We’ll have an exact price in a couple of weeks. We’ll also be updating t-shirt sizes before we place the order. Parents are welcome to order their own shirt to wear at the car wash.
– Picnic Thank You
Thanks to Scouts Nathaniel, Jack, Matthew, Joe, Brian, Jimmy, and James for assisting at the Parish Picnic First Aid tent. They also helped load furniture, dispose of garbage, and sell split the pot chances. Thank you also to Art Mandelin, and Ralph and Kelly Albanito for their help. Jack also found a minute to get the Scout logo painted on his face! I wonder if the face painter used permanent paint!
