– Next Troop Meeting – August 31 – 7:30-9:00 PM – School Hall
The regular Troop meeting will start later than normal so that the Troop can support the Cub Scout recruiting event. Class A uniforms for everyone – please!
– Cub Scout Recruiting Event – August 31 – 6:15 PM – School Hall
The Troop will be doing first aid demonstrations at the Cub Scout Pack Night. We need as many of our Scouts to volunteer to conduct the demonstrations for the Cub Scouts. Please arrive at the School Hall by 6:15 to get set up. This is a good opportunity to give the Cub Scouts a glimpse of what comes next in Scouting.

– September 25-27 – Tent Camping Weekend at Lake Kegonsa State Park
Lake Kegonsa State Park has a very nice youth group camping area as well as opportunities for hiking and exploring. The cost of the weekend is $45.00 per camper and sign-ups and payment are due by September 14. We are encouraging everyone to use Give Central to make their payment. Here is the permission slip.
– Troop Calendar for Fall 2026
The fall Troop calendar has been posted on the Troop website. You can access it here. We have planned a full schedule of outings, activities, and service opportunities. The calendar also has a few winter and spring dates that have been set already. We hope it helps families plan ahead.

Check out this amazing story of a Scout who earned the top three ranks in Scouting – Scouting’s Eagle, Venturing’s Summit, and Sea Scouts’ Quartermaster. In his spare time he earned every single merit badge offered by Scouting – 139! His incredible merit badge sash is pictured in the article.
