We will continue menu and gear planning for the submarine weekend and will be working on advancement.
We’re in summer mode, so it’s Class B uniforms!
– High Cliff-USS Cobia Weekend Updates
Three documents went out to submarine weekend participants – Troop permission slip, USS Cobia waiver, and an information sheet from the submarine. The permission slip and the sub waiver are due at the June 22 Troop meeting. All of the forms can be found here: High Cliff.
– T-Shirt Sizes and Payments Due – June 22
T-shirt orders are due at the June 22 Troop 22 meeting. The t-shirt order goes out on Tuesday or Wednesday next week so we need your request ASAP!
– Summer Camp Updates
— Summer Camp Parent Meeting – June 29 – 7:00 PM – School Hall
— Owasippe is offering a Merit Badge Prerequisites Portal that Scouts can use to submit merit badge work they have completed before camp. It’s a great way to get writing assignments completed before the Troop gets to camp. Here is a link to the portal.
– Car Wash – July 11 – 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Please plan to help with the annual Car Wash. It’s our only fundraiser each year and helps keep down the cost of Scouting. It’s also a great time for the Troop to unify on a common project.
We are also asking for families to bring a baked item for our hospitality tent. People getting their car washed appreciate the treat – as do the car washers!
